Hey all, welcome to our brand spankin' new site (thanks to steve at cellar door design)! We're finally up and running 100% with a bunch of brand new shit for you to check out on the site. We have some of our favourite pictures from touring throughout the summer. So if you met up with us while we were on the road you might want to check those out to see if you're in there somewhere. We also have a ton of new pictures that we've acquired over the past year but were too lazy and computer inept to put up on the site. There's some live mp3's from a our last show on tour this summer which were recorded at The Dungeon in Oshawa, Ontario. A couple of them are covers and unreleased original tracks so they're pretty rare. Thanks to everyone who came out to our show on the 1st with Resistance and HNP! It was a fucking huge success and it was packed! I haven't seen a local show do that well in a while. It's fucking amazing to see people getting back into local music. We have two shows coming up in the next month. The first is on October 16th at the Zoo with Debris (Devin's dad's band...honestly) and it's an 18+ show. The second is the almighty SKALLOWEEN! It's being held at Glenwood Community Centre this year as opposed the West End as usual. Make sure to come down to one of the shows and grab a beer with us. | We're Back From Tour! | ||

Hey, we just rolled into town last night at 2am and thus ended another exciting, eventful and drunken summer for the barrymores. This summer was even more of all three than past years. Every one of us had the time of our life doing what we love best and a big thanks goes out to anyone who helps us do just that. We were on the road for 30 days total, played 25 shows, drank 400 beers, smoked 2 ounces of pot, played with some killer bands and met a ton of really rad people. Having said that, here's a ton of shout outs: Yvonne, Branko, Ben and The Makeshift Heroes, Ben Rispin, Joe Shmoe, Mark and Baked Fresh Daily, Brenden, Scott(Rob), 4-Finger Mike, Ritch, Jay, The Operators + Shawna, Adam Hayward and any hippies that gave us weed at Hempfest, Aaron and the Gilbots, Andrew and Kickstand, Ginty, Diago, The Flagship Rebels, Phat Bastard, the Jersey and TNBT guys in Burlington, Luigi, Form One, any drunken fools we met along the way and every single person who saw us play. I narrowed this list down to the people I thought might read this so if you think you deserve a thanks and you aren't listed then it's not that we forgot. This fall we WERE going to try to take it easy but it doesn't look like that's going to happen until winter rolls around. We're playing some local shows in the next two months so look at the shows section. We're also currently in the works of making a video with the same production team that did videos for Good Charlotte. The video will be for the openning track on our new disc, which you should pick up if you haven't already (which is selling great by the way). |
