Bursting out of the flat, frozen wastelands of Manitoba, The Barrymores are a female fronted six piece power rock/ska combo. Combining a rock n’ roll backbeat with 3rd wave ska horn lines, sexy vocals and a few doses of reggae and punk; they have begun garnering much deserved praise for their live show and their music alike. Decidedly non-political, The Barrymores leave that work to the newspapers and instead choose to simply bring the rocking good times out in a slew of songs about relationships, friends, love and drinking. Their youth and vigor make them one of Canada’s hardest working outfits period! This sextet clearly has a blast while on stage together and promises you ska music that stirs the soul then, knocks you right down with a fierce crunch!
